  1. Q: WinGnuPlot starts, but when I try to do a real plot, it crashes ?

  3. A: This seems to be the major problem which happens to most people.
  4.    You need to install the Outlinefonts from your 2.1 or 3.x FONTS disk.
  5.    You must have the bullet.library installed in LIBS:.
  6.    The 2.0 Outlinefonts from the 2.04 or 2.05 are not sufficient.
  7.    You need the 2.1 or 3.x version.

  10. Q: WinGnuPlot starts, but I got some odd colors, like plotting grey on
  11.    black background. ?

  13. A: Delete >all< occurences of the configuration-file named "WinPlot.cfg".

  16. Q: Why do I have to resize the windows everytime the program starts ?

  18. A: This is due to MUI. Resize the windows to your personal taste and then
  19.    start the MUI-Preferences program and select "Save" to save your personal 
  20.    configuration. This is even possible with unregistered version of MUI.

  23. Q: Where can I find the original sources of gnuplot or gnufit ?

  25. A: These sources should be available on any good ftp-server. Please look for
  26.    files named like gnuplot35.tgz or gnuplot.tar etc.
  27.    You should find it at athene.uni-paderborn.de.
